
Ashwa Sanchalan (Horse Posture) improves the overall well being of the body and strengthens the back, abdomen and thigh muscles. It strengthens the waist and hip muscles and reduces the back and cervical pain. This asana is highly effective in reducing body fat, and is for improving the flexibility of spine.
Follow these simple steps for this asana:
1) Lie down on your back. Spread your hands out on the ground.
2) Place the right foot on left thigh.
3) Using the left hand turn the right knee to left and place your toes on the ground.
4) Turn the head right.
5) Same steps should be followed with left leg
Repeat these steps 6-12 times.
